Lettuce and Seaweed Salad

Ingredients

Lettuce 1/2
Nori sheets 3
Dressing:
Soy sauce 1 tsp
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
Vinegar 1.5 tbsp
Sesame oil 1 tbsp
Sugar 2 pinches
Salt & pepper as required
Chilli oil 6-7 drops
Sesame seeds as you like

Method

Put all the dressing ingredients into a bowl (except the sesame seeds) and mix well.

Tear the ice cold lettuce into bitesize pieces and put in a large bowl. Shred the nori sheets and add to the bowl.

Pour in the dressing from Step 1 and mix well, ideally by hand. This is how you get a delicious salad.

Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with as many sesame seeds as you like.

Tips & Note

Gordon Ramsay said delicious salads are basically 3 Cs - Cold, Clean, Crunchy. This certainly ticks all the boxes!
