Choco Banana Croissants

Use shop bought puff pastry to make instant delights!

Ingredients

Puff pastry sheet 1
Bananas 2
Chocolate chips as required
Egg 1
Flour for dusting 1 tbsp

Method

Cut the puff pastry into 6.

Cut each piece into half diagonally to make 12 triangles.

Dust the flour on a chopping board and roll each triangle to make it a more evenly pointed shape.

Place 1 tbsp chopped banana and 7-8 chocolate chips at the bottom centre.

Roll upwards towards the point. Don't worry if some of the banana escapes.

Seal the two ends and bring them round to the front. Pinch to make a croissant shape.

Brush with the beaten egg and put into a preheated oven 220C for 20 minutes.

This is delicious eaten hot or cold!

Tips & Note

●You can try with apples or any other fruits
●Step 3 can be a bit tricky to get the correct shape but give it a go and don't worry too much - it's home-made after all!
