Korean Cheesy Pancakes

It's a great snack with beers and wines.

Ingredients

[A]
Self-raising flour 50g
Potato starch or cornflour 50g
Water 100ml
Grated cheddar cheese 50g
Salt & pepper as required
Grated garlic 1 clove
Sesame seeds 2 tbsp
Spring onions 2
Sesame oil 4 tbsp

Method

Add all the ingredients A into a bowl. Add the spring onions cut into 5cm lengths then finely sliced lengthways.

Put the sesame oil in a frying pan. Add half the amount from Step 1 and spread out into a round using your fingertips. Fry on a medium high heat.

When it's browned, turn it over and fry the other side, pressing down the pancake with a fish slice.

Slice the cooked pancake into bitesize pieces and serve with salt or ponzu vinegar.
