Ingredients

Sauce:
●Soy sauce 90ml
●Mirin 90ml
●Sake 45ml
●Sugar 40g
Water 265ml

Method

Put all the sauce ingredients in a pan on medium heat and bring to the boil.

Once boiled, remove any white impurities from the surface.

Mix with the exact weight of these ingredients of water.

Now make some sukiyaki: place your favourite meat, vegetables and tofu attractively in a pan.

This time, I used 120g of thinly sliced beef per person and a variety of mushrooms, tofu, onions and Chinese leaves.

Pour the sauce onto Step 4 and cook on a medium heat. It's ready when the vegetables are cooked through.

Tips & Note

●At home, you'd probably put the sauce first followed by the other ingredients, but this makes it a bit messy, so it's a good suggestion to place the ingredients first to look nice, then the sauce.
