Cheese Burger Rice Sandwich (Onigirazu)

Fry shop bought burgers with some cheese and sandwich them in rice - delicious!

Ingredients

Beefburger patty 1
Cheese slice 1
Lettuce leaves 2
Cooked rice 80g
Nori sheet 1
Tomato ketchup as required
American mustard as required
Sesame seeds as required

Method

Here are the ingredients.

Fry the beefburger on medium heat in a frying pan until cooked through.

Place some cling film on a chopping board then lay the nori sheet on top in a diamond shape. Put half the rice in the centre and spread to a flat round.

Top with some of the lettuce, the burger, some ketchup and mustard.

Add the cheese slice.

Cover with more lettuce, the remaining rice and the sesame seeds. Fold in the top and bottom corners of the nori with the cling film and overlap at the top. Repeat with the left and right corners.

Press firmly then wait 4-5 minutes to get a good firm shape.

Cut with a wet knife (including the cling film). Remove the cling film and tuck in!

Tips & Note

●As the burger is thick, you'll need less rice otherwise the nori sheet won't stretch over
