Serves 2 Cook: 15 min

Ingredients

Pasta for 2 people
Bacon rashers 3-4
Pointed cabbage 1/4
Soy sauce 2 tsp
Olive oil 1 tbsp
Vegetable stock granules 1 tsp
Pepper as you like

Method

1
Remove the fat from the bacon and cut into small pieces. Roughly chop the cabbage.
2
Start cooking the pasta. Put the bacon in another pan (no oil) and top with the cabbage. Put the lid on and turn the heat on to medium.
3
Put the soy sauce, olive oil and stock granules into a large bowl and mix.
4
When the bacon and cabbage are cooked, scoop 2 tbsp of the liquid from the pan and add to Step 3. Drain any remaining liquid from the pan.
5
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce from Step 4 and mix well. Add the bacon and cabbage and mix well. Season with pepper if you like before serving.

Tips & Note

Don't add any oil to the bacon and cabbage as it cooks. If you use butter instead of olive oil in the sauce, it will be more flavourful.
