Beef Teriyaki with Horseradish Sauce

Horseradish works so well with roast beef, but I made a few changes this time.

Recipe By: KitchenCIB (https://cookbuzz.com/kitchen/94)
Serves 2 Cook: 30 min

Ingredients

Beef sirloin steak 200-300g
Salt & pepper a little
Teriyaki sauce:
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Mirin 2 tbsp
Red wine 2 tbsp
Horseradish sauce:
Horseradish 2 tbsp
Mayonnaise 1.5 tbsp
Soy sauce 1 tbsp

Method

1
Season the beef with salt & pepper on both sides and keep aside for 15 minutes.
2
Put some vegetable oil in a frying pan and add the beef. Fry on medium heat for 3 minutes. Turn over and add all the teriyaki sauce ingredients and baste.
3
Cook for 3 minutes then turn the heat off. Remove to some foil and wrap up to cook more on residual heat.
4
In the meantime, make the horseradish sauce by mixing together all the ingredients in a bowl.
5
After 5-6 minutes in the foil, slice the beef thinly (the beef should be pink) and transfer to a serving dish. Pour over the horseradish sauce and enjoy!
