Parma Ham With Flat Peach

This prosciutto with peach is an excellent appetiser.

Serves 2 Prep: 5 min Cook: 5 min

Ingredients

Flat peach 6
Parma ham 5 slices
Black pepper as required

Method

1
I bought the Parma ham at Sainsbury's, it was £2.50 for 5 slices.
2
Don't peel the peach, but cut into bitesize pieces. Cut the Parma ham into thirds.
3
Place the ham gently onto the peach on a serving dish. Just before serving, put plenty of black pepper over it.

Tips & Note

The flat peach skin is very thin and edible, so it's not necessary to peel it. In fact, the best part of the fruit is the bit just under the skin, so I would recommend not to peel it. Use really ripe peaches that are soft so that they will be very sweet and complement the saltiness of the Parma ham perfectly.
