Herring Sandwich

It's only sauteed herrings in a sandwich, so simple but tasty.

Ingredients

Herring fillets 2
Salt & pepper as required
Olive oil as required
Light soy sauce as required
Onion 1/2
Tomato 1/2
Mint leaves as required
Baguette as you like
Lemon juice as you like

Method

Slice the onion thinly and add lemon juice. Slice the tomato.

Season both sides of the herring with salt & pepper, then pat dry.

Put some oil in a frying pan and fry the herrings on both side. Make them crispy.

Cut the baguette and toast lightly.

Fill with the herrings, onion, mint and tomato and pour over the lemon juice or soy sauce.

Tips & Note

●For children, you can add ketchup or Worcester sauce.
●You can also use mackerel or sardines instead of herring.
