Nescafe Gold Blend Biscuits

Ingredients

Butter (salted) 60g
Granulated sugar 35g
Self raising flour 120g
Nescafe Gold Blend 2 tsp
Salt 1 pinch

Method

Microwave the butter for 20 seconds. Add the coffee, sugar and salt and mix well.

With the coffee granules still undissolved, sift in the flour and combine. Put in a Ziploc bag or wrap in cling film and knead gently with your fingers.

If you can, keep aside for one hour.

Preheat the oven 170C.

Divide the dough into small balls and press down. Prick with a fork.

Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven - the biscuit will still be soft.As it cools, it will harden.

The shortbread for grown ups is ready, you can still see granules of coffee.

Tips & Note

Don't melt the butter for too long in the microwave otherwise the heat will melt the coffee granules.
