Choc n Nut Marshmallow Puffs

Irresistible crunchy bites, just right for a tea-time snack!

Recipe By: cookbuzz (https://cookbuzz.com/kitchen/454)
Makes 15 Prep: 15 min Cook: 20 min

Ingredients

Puff pastry sheet 1
Unsalted mixed nuts & raisins 60g
Milk choco chips 30g
Marshmallows 30g
Marmalade 10g
Water 1 tbsp
Egg yolk 1

Method

1
Cut the puff pastry sheet into 5 × 8cm rectangles with a pizza cutter or knife. You can choose whatever size you like.
2
Put a baking sheet on an oven tray and transfer the puff pastry. As it bakes, it will expand a little, so leave some space between.
3
Put some nuts, raisins, chocolate chips and chopped marshmallows on top of each pastry slice, in the middle, and press slightly into the pastry.
4
Brush egg yolk around the pastry edges and bake for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 ℃. In the meantime mix together the marmalade and water.
5
After baking, finish off by brushing with the marmalade mixture from Step 4. If you try them the next day, the pastry will be nice and crisp and marmalade will have set harder - I found it more delicious!
