Quick & Easy Ricotta Cheese White Sauce

Make a rich creamy white sauce without cream!

Ingredients

Ricotta cheese 250g
Butter 2 tbsp
Salt a little
Cornflour 2-3 tsp
Water for cornflour as required

Method

Put the butter into a frying pan on medium heat.

Add the ricotta cheese and spread out. Heat until it becomes a liquid.

Add salt and adjust to taste. Mix the cornflour with some water and add it in to make a thick sauce. It's ready!

Tips & Note

Make the sauce thick or thin using the cornflour mix to suit the recipe dish you're making. I made this sauce for my kid's friend who has a wheat allergy - it worked well enough for me to share this with you.
