Devilled Tofu

A unique combination of chilli and honey adds a nice touch to this snack.

Ingredients

Tofu (firm) 200g
Bacon rashers 8
Salt & pepper a little
Olive oil 1 tsp
Red chilli 1/2
Honey 1 tbsp

Method

Cut the tofu into 1cm batons x 8. Sprinkle the bacon with the salt and rub in. Roll the tofu with bacon rashers.

Put the olive oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Add the bacon rolls and fry until nicely browned all over.

Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with the pepper and deseeded chopped chilli. Drizzle over lots of honey.
