Frankfurter Maki Sushi Roll

I made this like I make hot dogs, rolling up the frankfurter with cheese - kids and adults love them!

Recipe By: Tobuchan (https://cookbuzz.com/kitchen/25)
Serves 1 Prep: 5 min Cook: 5 min

Ingredients

Sushi rice 100g
Nori sheet 1/2
Frankfurter 1
Spinach leaves 4
Ketchup 1 tsp
Mustard 1 tsp

Method

1
This is the frankfurter I used.
2
Pan fry with a touch of oil or microwave for 1 minute.
3
Wrap a bamboo mat in cling film. Lay the nori sheet on top and spread over with the sushi rice, leaving 2cm clear across the top.
4
In place of wasabi, spread the ketchup and mustard just below the centre.
5
Put the cheese slices, spinach leaves and frankfurter on top.
6
Lift the bamboo mat from nearest you and roll over to the end of the rice and keep rolling. Press down firmly.
7
Remove the bamboo mat, your maki roll is ready!

Tips & Note

●Ketchup, mustard and cheese will provide the saltiness, so eat it as it is.
●You can use basil or rocket instead of spinach if you like.
