Pork & Green Pepper Stir Fry with Swede

The original recipe uses bamboo shoots, but here I used swede.

Ingredients

Swede 1/4
Green pepper 1/2
Pork loin fillet 1
Vegetable oil as required
●Chicken stock 100ml
●Soy sauce 1.5 tbsp
●White wine 2 tbsp
●Mirin 1 tsbp
●Oyster sauce 1.5 tbsp
Potato starch in a bit of water as required

Method

Shred the swede, green pepper and pork into strips.

Dredge the pork with some potato starch and fry. When it's just cooked, put aside.

In the same frying pan, add the green pepper and swede and stir fry for 1 minute.

Add all the ●ingredients and return the pork to the frying pan. Add the potato starch in water to thicken, it's now ready.

This is a swede.

Tips & Note

When swede is cooked, it gets sweeter and sweeter, but you need to get a good balance of a firm texture, so don't overcook.
