Stir Fried Pork and Peppers in Oyster Sauce

Marinade the pork well before cooking, then just stir fry!

Ingredients

Pork loin fillet 1
Peppers (red and green) 1/2 each
Onion 1/2
Ginger 1 thumb
Garlic 1 clove
Marinade for the pork:
Rice wine 1 tsp
Soy sauce 1 tsp
Oyster sauce 1 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Cornflour (or potato starch) 1 tbsp (or 1 tsp)
Oil as required
Pepper 1/2 tsp
Salt a pinch
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Oyster sauce 1 tbsp
Sesame oil 1 tsp

Method

Cut the peppers and onions into small dice. Rub the pork well with the marinade seasonings (from the rice wine to the cornflour) and keep for 10 minutes. Finely chop the ginger and garlic.

Put 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan and stir fry the pork on high heat until cooked through thoroughly, then remove to a plate.

Put another tbsp oil in the frying pan and add the garlic and ginger and stir for 30 seconds. Add the peppers and onions and fry for 3 minutes on high heat.

Add the salt, pepper, soy sauce and oyster sauce and return the pork from Step 2. Stir lightly and drizzle with the sesame oil before transferring to a serving dish.
