Serves 2 Prep: 10 min Cook: 10 min

Ingredients

Beef steak 200g
Onion (medium) 1/2
Salt & pepper a pinch and 1 tsp
Marinade:
Rice wine 1 tbsp
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Honey 1 tsp
Cornflour (or potato starch) 1 tbsp
Ginger 1 thumb
Garlic 2 cloves
Sauce:
Vegetable oil 3 tbsp
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Rice wine 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Oyster sauce 1 tbsp

Method

1
Use your favourite beef cut. I used rib eye steak. Cut the beef into easy bitesize pieces and rub with the salt and lots of pepper.
2
Grate the ginger and garlic and rub into the beef. Keep for 10 minutes in a bowl with the other marinade ingredients.
3
Put 2 tbsp of oil in a wok or frying pan and add the beef. Stir fry for 6 to 7 minutes on high heat.
4
Create a space in the middle of the pan and add 1 tbsp of oil. Heat it well before adding the thinly sliced onions and fry for 1 minute on high heat.
5
Add all the sauce ingredients and stir until the onion is cooked. Serve on a dish and enjoy.

Tips & Note

If the onions are nice and crispy, the dish will be delicious.
