Stir Fried Spicy Tuna with Cucumber

Tuna and cucumber go well together in a cold salad, but fry them together, it's even better!

Ingredients

Cucumber 15cm
Garlic 1 clove
Ginger 1 thumb
Chinese chilli bean sauce (Toban-jan) 1.5 tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Sesame seeds as required
Tinned tuna in sunflower oil (small) 1

Method

Press the cucumber with the side of a knife to smash it slightly, then chop diagonally into bitesize pieces.

Add 1 tbsp sunflower oil from the tinned tuna into a frying pan and add the roughly chopped garlic and ginger. Stir fry on high heat for a few seconds then add the chilli bean sauce.

Add the sugar and flaked tuna and stir fry for 1 minute.

Add the cucumber and cook for 2 minutes. It's ready. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds once served.
