Quick & Easy Miso Soup with Poached Egg

Ingredients

Hot water 250ml
Dashi stock granules 1/3 tsp
Miso 18-20g
Egg 1
Spring onion (optional) 1/4

Method

Boil the hot water in a pan and add the dashi and miso. Turn the heat down to low and drop the egg in gently and wait for 3-4 minutes.

Pour carefully into a bowl and split the yolk a little. Sprinkle with the finely chopped spring onion which will add colour as well as extra flavour.
