Quick & Easy Miso Soup with Poached Egg

Just drop a raw egg into your plain miso soup and wait. It's so tasty and you can judge for yourself when your egg is perfectly cooked.

Ingredients

Hot water 250ml
Dashi stock granules 1/3 tsp
Miso 18-20g
Egg 1
Spring onion (optional) 1/4

Method

Boil the hot water in a pan and add the dashi and miso. Turn the heat down to low and drop the egg in gently and wait for 3-4 minutes.

Pour carefully into a bowl and split the yolk a little. Sprinkle with the finely chopped spring onion which will add colour as well as extra flavour.
