Apple and Cinnamon Yorkshire Pudding

Ingredients

Flour 60g
Cinnamon 1/8 tsp
Salt 1/8 tsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Egg 1
Milk 60ml
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
Apple 1/2
Icing:
Icing sugar 50g
Water 2 tsp

Method

Preheat the oven 220C.

Mix the sifted flour, cinnamon, salt and sugar together in a bowl. Add the egg and mix with a whisk.

Add milk little by little to make a smooth batter and leave at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

Cut the apple into wedges and mix lightly in salt water to prevent discoloration. Add to Step 3.

Add 1 tsp oil into a muffin tin and warm it well in the oven.

Divide the batter into three equal portions and pour into Step 5 and bake for 20 minutes in the oven (lower the temperature to 200C).

To make the icing, mix the icing sugar and water well.

The apple pudding is baked when you can see it nicely risen. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before drizzling with the icing.
