Baked Cheese and Bacon Kayak

Take out the inside of a baguette and stuff with cheese and bacon - it's so satisfying!

Ingredients

Bacon rashers 2
Vegetable oil 1 tsp
Egg 1
Cottage cheese 2 heaped tbsp
Cheddar cheese 2 handfuls
Parmigiano reggiano 2 tbsp
Pepper 1/2 tsp
Spring onions 3
Baguettes (small) 2

Method

Put the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the chopped bacon for 5 minutes until very crispy.

Put the Parmigiano, cottage cheese, grated Cheddar, chopped spring onions, egg and pepper in a bowl and mix well.

Add the crispy bacon from Step 1 and mix well.

Cut out the top section of the baguette and create a hollow by removing the inside of the bread. Make lots of space.

Stuff the hollows with the mixture from Step 3 and put in a preheated oven 200C for 15 minutes.

You can enjoy as it is or cut into smaller pieces.

It's also delicious with sliced tomatoes on top and it looks good too.

You can use the removed bread to make this delicious dish.

You can adjust the amount and varieties of cheeses you use.
