Seafood Flavour Ramen Noodles

Make ramen noodles using spaghetti (see the recipe here) and enjoy with a fish stock.

Recipe By: Tobuchan (https://cookbuzz.com/kitchen/25)
Serves 1 Cook: 15 min

Ingredients

Spaghetti 100g
Hot water 1.5 litres
Salt 1 tbsp
Bicarbonate of soda 1 tbsp
Fish stock cube 1
Hot water for soup 350ml
Toppings as you like

Method

1
Add the salt to boiling water then turn the heat off. Add the bicarbonate of soda while the heat is turned off, then turn the heat back on low.
2
Add the spaghetti and cook for 2 minutes longer than usual on low heat to avoid it overflowing.
3
Make a soup in the meantime: add the fish stock cube to the water and dissolve it.
4
Drain the pasta and wash under running water to remove the smell of the soda. Return the pasta to the pan and add the soup from Step 3 and bring to the boil.
5
Transfer to a soup bowl and add your favourite toppings such as boiled egg or chopped spring onions.
6
This is the bicarbonate of soda I used.

Tips & Note

●I'd heard that you can make ramen noodles by adding soda to spaghetti - then I wondered what soup to have with it and thought this would be ideal and quick!
