Bacon & Sweetcorn Canape

Great with a beer, it's nice and salty. Works well at a home party.

Ingredients

Smoked bacon 20g
Sweetcorn tin 1
Black olives 3
Mayonnaise 2 tbsp
Cayenne pepper a pinch
Crackers (like Ritz) 18

Method

Chop the bacon into 7-8mm dice and fry in a pan without oil.

After 2-3 minutes, add the drained sweetcorn and fry for a further 3 minutes.

Transfer to a bowl and allow to cool. Add mayonnaise and cayenne pepper and mix well.

Scoop onto Ritz biscuits and garnish with finely chopped olives before serving.

Tips & Note

●I personally recommend black olives in brine not in oil.
