Sweet Miso Soup with Fresh Banana!

Banana in miso soup? Sounds weird? I thought so too, until I tried it...

Recipe By: KitchenCIB (https://cookbuzz.com/kitchen/94)
Serves 2 Cook: 5 min

Ingredients

Kyoto white miso 35-40g
Hot water 400ml
Sugar 1-1.5 tbsp
Banana 1
Sesame seeds 2 tsp

Method

1
Put the hot water in a pan on medium heat. Add the miso by dissolving it a little at a time to avoid lumps. Add the sugar and allow to dissolve. This miso soup doesn't need dashi stock.
2
Cut the banana into 1cm diagonal slices and add to the soup for 1 minute.
3
Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle liberally with sesame seeds. I would recommend to serve it after meals!

Tips & Note

Don't overcook once the bananas have been added otherwise they will disintegrate.
