Ingredients

Pink lady apples 2
Self raising flour 140g
Granulated sugar 80g
Cinnamon powder 1 tsp
Lemon juice 1/2

Method

1
These are pink lady apples, a beautiful vivid pink.
2
Peel them and chop one finely. Grate the other and put them both in a bowl and add the lemon juice.
3
Sieve in the self raising flour, sugar and cinnamon powder and mix thoroughly by hand to make a dough.
4
Divide into 12 balls. Place on a baking tray covered in parchment and press each slightly with the palm of your hand. Bake for 18 minutes in a preheated oven 180°C.

Tips & Note

Even though the pink lady apples look so pretty when you start baking, it's a shame to peel them and only use the inside. Keep one apple and show your guests how the recipe started!
