Recipe By: SuzukiSashimi (https://cookbuzz.com/kitchen/30)
Serves 2 Cook: 30 min

Ingredients

Red mullet (whole) 2
Plum tomatoes 1-1.5 pack
Red chilli 1-2
Garlic 6-8 cloves
Flour as required
Salt as required
Pepper as required
Sugar as required

Method

1
Prepare the mullet beforehand. Cut the tomatoes into half and smash the garlic.
2
Cut the chilli into fine strips.
3
Season the fish with salt & pepper and dredge with flour. Fry in vegetable oil in an iron frying pan until both sides are browned.
4
Remove the oil from Step 3 into another frying pan and fry the garlic and chilli. Put the fish in the oven on maximum heat for 8 minutes.
5
When you can smell the garlic frying, add the tomatoes and season with the sugar, salt & pepper.
6
When the fish is cooked, transfer to a serving dish and pour over the sauce from Step 5.

Tips & Note

★You can use a fillet of cod or red mullet if you prefer. If you use a smaller fish, it will definitely be better with a whole fish
★I love garlic, so I added a lot, but it's up to you
★You can add dill to garnish if you like
